Topical DHT Blocker Rogaine

My Topical DHT Blocker Diary

After reading so many reports from different people who have found using a topical DHT blocker useful I decided to share my diary of my experiences while using the topical DHT blocker Rogaine.

Week One: I had been noticing over the last few months that my hair seemed to be becoming thinner especially around the temples and crown of my head. At first I covered it with a hat, but I remembered reading that anti hair loss treatments always work best if you start trying to tackle the problem early on.

I did some research and found out that the type of premature balding I was experiencing was linked to DHT. DHT, or Dihydrotestosterone, is a hormone which forms during a metabolic reaction between an enzyme known as 5 Alpha Reductase and the male sex  hormone testosterone. DHT builds up on the scalp and gathers around the hair follicle. The hair follicle is where the hair root is, and where it gains the nutrients to grow strong and healthy. The presence of large amounts of DHT cause the hair to weaken and fall out due to a shrinking effect on the follicle. In order to tackle the effects of DHT on my hair I chose FDA approved Rogaine.

Rogaine contains the active ingredient Minoxidil. The makers of Rogaine, Upjohn have studied hair loss for many years before coming up with this formula and have thousands of satisfied customers.

Rogaine has specific instructions for application, to ensure that all of the scalp and hair are covered. It is a topical DHT blocker which works directly on the hair and scalp to cleanse away DHT and stop the build up of more. The aim of Rogaine is to get the scalp in good condition and stimulate new hair growth.

Topical DHT BlockersWeek Three: By the third week of using the topical DHT blocker I could feel that my hair was in better condition. It felt fresher and had more body and volume. I found getting into the habit of using the topical DHT blocker was easy and soon it was just another aspect of my daily routine. There was no unpleasant, give away smell, in fact the fragrance was quite pleasant. I also discovered Progaine Shampoo to work along side the topical DHT blocker and complement its effect. Although Progaine does not contain Minoxidil, it leaves the scalp in optimum condition for hair regrowth.

Week Six: At the six week point of using the topical DHT blocker I was really convinced by its effects. My hair loss, which I'd been so concerned about had definitely stopped.

The remaining hair felt silky smooth and thicker than ever before. But the best effect of all, was that the DHT cleansing action of the topical DHT blocker had allowed my hair follicles to come out of dormancy and new hair to grow.

I would definitely recommend topical DHT blockers to any one with concerns about premature hair loss and balding.

Why try to hide your bald patches, when you can grow a healthy head of hair
